Gymboree Gymbucks enthusiast? I just found a 20% off coupon in the new June/July issue of Family Fun Magazine. It’s good thru August 2, but consider using it before July 16 (start date of next Gymbucks Redemption period).
MAJOR TIP: To get the most leverage out of this coupon, use it during the Gymbucks EARNING period. You won’t be able to combine it with a Gymbuck during the redemption period. But you can combine now by using an additional 20% off coupon during the Earning period and achieve the same overall result.
Generally, to optimize Gymbucks, you should buy sale items (at least 40% off, preferably 50 -60% off) on both Earning and Redemption. With Gymbucks, your true overall savings is an additional 25% off (not 50% like Gymboree advertises for Redemption) because you have to consider the Earning part of the equation, i.e. you have to earn a Gymbuck in order to redeem a Gymbuck.
Using an additional 20% off during the Earning period is just as valuable as it would be during the redemption period. And, while leveraging a Gymbuck together with an additional 20% off at the same time is very enticing, it won’t be allowed.
So, if you are making Gymboree purchases now w/o an additional 20% off coupon, you’re missing out on a rare opportunity to leverage multiple Gymboree promotions together.

Do you subscribe to Family Fun or did you find it in stores already? I just started my subscription, and just received my May edition last week, but I might hit up the stores if the June edition is in stores already….
Whoops…sorry about above post, I was going through about 3 pages of info about gymboree coupons and was trying to find out if the june/july 2010 family fun has a gymboree coupon….didn’t check post date…lol…

Where can I find the family fun magazine in stores – what stores? I am not subscribed yet and, as it will take four to six weeks to get the magazine, I won’t get it in time. Help!
Is this coupon in this June/July 2010 issue? I haven’t seen the new magazine out. I’ve only seen the May edition.

No coupon in hand, but I did confirm you can find the magazine in Barnes & Noble’s Family/Children section (so probably similar at other stores). Our store still did not have the June/July issue – just a couple of lingering May issues (and sorry, I already gave my subscribed version away!). It would probably be a good idea to call a local store first and see if they have the new issue in yet before you drag out your six little ones!

My Barnes & Noble only has a few May issues and no idea when the June issue will arrive. Too bad because Gymboree just started the 30% off fill a bag sale and you can use the coupon with it! I would love to buy a coupon code from someone…

I found the magazine at Borders…3 copies, all of them were missing the coupon, someone tore it out. Lame. Page 64 is where it should have been.

I went to Barnes and Noble last night, and there were no coupon inserts in the copies they had there. BUT in the Parenting (NOT Parents) magazine, they still had the coupon. So try that and see if it works!

Parents magazine for August and there is a Gymboree coupon for 20% off (thru Aug. 31st) and a free class coupon also worth $40 off enrollment or a birthday party package at Play & Music (thru Oct. 31st).
