Cocotier Kids Boutique has a blog to help modern moms dress their kids in fun fashion and hip clothes. I noticed they post monthly specials, such as Free Shipping, and other deals on the blog. The blog covers not only kids’ clothes, but accessories and home items such as organic bath products. Here’s what they have to say about the 2008 Spring and Summer Tea Collection:

The Boutique site is great place to watch for some nice deals, especially if they offer some of your favorite designer brands. I noticed they are currently offering sales at 50% and higher off last season’s fashions.

I’ve mentioned Michelle Kouzmine’s Kids’ Fashion on About.com before, but this seems timely and appropriate for all you first time Mother’s Day honorees this May.
Michelle rounds up 10 great tee shirts for your young ones to sport on YOUR special day. My favorite is the one from Baby Style: “I love my Mom because….”.

Why doesn’t my family dress themselves in these tees? Really, I think they should. For kids, choose from, “My Mom’s a Hot Mom” and “I’ve got a Hot Mom”. And Dads can show their adoration and respect too with a “My wife’s a Hot Mom” tee.
Ok, that’s it. I’m ordering these myself (and they better wear them).
I think Michelle’s comments are a riot. And, I don’t know about you, but I can’t get my Girls to wear plain T-shirts (no matter what’s on them!).
Thanks for the post Michelle, these T-shirts can be a great way for moms to feel unique and appreciated by their little ones on Mother’s Day. But what about re-sale value? Limited, I’m sure….unless from a high-end designer. But, fun and cute, nevertheless.

The great kid’s fashion blog, http://trendygirlsfashion.blogspot.com/ has some of the latest fashions for little girls that are looking to look cute, yet dressed up at formal events and even just fun mommy and daughter days. These dresses are easy to wear and easily cleaned; the perfect combination for a busy mother.
My love for fun old fashion clothing can sometimes throw me overboard when I am shopping. I have fallen many a time into a shopping frenzy and before you know it I am up to my ears in frills and lace. There are a lot of new sales and new reductions this week. Spring clearance is at least 40% off at most merchants. Several are already offering an addition 40-50% off already clearanced merchandise. Weekly, these sales should get better and better. If you have your eye on anything in particular, watch closely - but don’t buy until you see sizes running out or low.
As expected, Gymboree’s announced 50% Spring clearance immediately after Gymbucks redemption ended. A variety of items are priced at .99, $1.99, $3.99, $9.99, etc. Most of the best deals flew out of the stores and on-line inventory within the first 24 hours.

Inexpensive children’s clothing is generally NOT eco-friendly. In fact, it can be very ecologically and economically unfriendly.
While it can be like shopping in a candy store and easy on the pocketbook to purchase multitudes of inexpensive children’s clothing items in the big box and low-end department stores, it can also be very wasteful.
Sure, it’s fun to have “new” things. But, the quality of the item is often suspect, not to mention rarely eco-friendly. And, the clothing typically doesn’t wash and wear well nor maintains a resale value. So, two big lessons here:
