TIP: I urge you to never pay more than 15% of your total bill on shipping (otherwise you’re exceeding normal tipping rates!).  When I can’t get free shipping, as a rule of thumb I try to keep it in the range of 5-10% of my total purchase.

So, I can’t help but wonder what’s up at Gymboree with this type of pricing.  Obviously they have some overstock, but is it because they made too much or is buying down?   Or, maybe they are just trying to get a jump on their competitors to be the first to clear out end-of-season merchandise.    Any guesses?

They can’t be making much if any money, especially given that cotton prices remain double what they were a year ago (just read about that today).  Although, long time Gymbo fans have seen a significant decline in the quality in the past couple of year with regards to quality of materials and manufacturing.
