Newborns to kids age 12 are eligible to enter.  All you need to do is write up a short essay (in 50 words or less) on how your child lights up the worlds.  It could be as simple as making those around them smile to helping others.  Entries are divided into four categories: baby boy (0-4 years old), baby girl (0-4 years old), boy (5-12 years old), girl (5-12 years old).

You can submit up to five entries and/or view entries through April 22. Voting will begin May 21 and run through May 25, 2012. 

Winners will be announced on or around July 30, 2012 when four grand prize winners will receive a professional photo shoot, a $1,000 Gap GiftCard, and the opportunity to be featured in a Gap marketing campaign. In addition, a $10,000 grant will be given in the winners names to Communities In Schools, a nonprofit that partners with nearly 3,000 public schools, assisting 1.25 million students.

So,get out your cameras and start writing. Who knows… We could be seeing your child in Gap store windows nationwide.

Do you have a tween girl with a big personality?  Now could be her moment to shine.  Little Miss Matched is searching for special girls to represent their brand nationwide in their first ever casting call inspired by their fashion dolls.

If you have a creative girl, she may be the new face of Artsy Girl.  Have a daughter who loves to travel?  She could represent Rock N Roll Girl.  Athletic girls may be the new face of Sporty Girl  and city loving girls could represent Uptown Girl (who by the way loves hand me downs).  It’s up to each entrant to decide which of the LMM Girls™ fit them best.  Entries are due by Midnight (EST) on April 22nd, 2012 with first interviews being conducted April 30.

Submissions should be sent to Casting@LittleMissMatched.com and include basic information (name, age & hometown), 2 photographs (headshot & full body), measurements for clothing fit purposes (height, clothing size & shoe size) and an essay (in 250 words or less) telling Little Miss Match what “YOU be YOU™” (their brand statement) means to you.
