Here’s a new twist on your back to school shopping in the form of a story.  Ralph Lauren has come up with a clever online shopping experience with a cute story narrated by Harry Connick Junior.  The RL Gang, A Fantastically Amazing School Adventure follows eight adorable kids in equally adorable fashions acting out the story of a not so average school day.  

Watch the story and you can click on any character at any point in the video to take a peek into their closet.  While you’re browsing the closet, you can purchase any of the three looks featured in the video.   What a fun way to shop for back to school for both parents and children alike.

There are several sites where you can purchase high quality and/or really cute labels.  Mainly, its your preference on type of label, design, and of course — deal!  We found these great sites, and some of them have back-to-school specials.   We even found a great family project to make your own.

This is a fun kid/family project we found on Family Fun Magazine’s website.   You can print your own book and binder labels for back-to-school.   These will print through sticker paper on your printer, so won’t work for clothing… but can be a lot of fun for kids to label their school supplies.     Check out the Label Project here.

This week we are getting trendy – kid trendy! Trends come and go, but while they are here, they are popular.
