Being a mother is one of the most fun, challenging, surprising, exhausting and rewarding experiences anyone can have. The road to raising a child is always full of obstacles and sheer joy as well as moments that make your heart skip a beat (in a good way and sometimes not so good way).
The rewards of motherhood come in bits and pieces. When they are little, its in the small gestures of hugs and kisses. When they are older, its in the form of compliments from people other than family members or the polite gestures they throw out all on their own.
Although, motherhood is busy we hope that you find a small piece of time to enjoy your children this Mother’s Day. After all, they are the reason we’re celebrating.
As you prepare for a weekend filled with hand made cards, spoken sentiments, hand picked flowers, special meals and hopefully, lots of hugs. We wanted share a few of our favorite things about being a Mom.
I love being a Mom because… You get to shape the future one little person at a time.
I love being a Mom because… Listening to a little voice say, “Mom, I love you!” is the sweetest sound you’ll ever hear.
I love being a Mom because… Your kids always find a way to make you smile, even after you’ve had a rough day.
I love being a Mom because… It’s hard to remember the feeling of boredom.
I love being a Mom because… Even though your kids may be bigger than you, they still find comfort in Mom’s hugs.
I love being a Mom because…. You are pretty to your kids even if you haven’t showered, put on make-up or combed your hair.
I love being a Mom because…. Mommy kisses can fix any scrape, bruise or bump a child encounters.
I love being a Mom ….. “Because I’m the mom” is a phrase that you can only say when you have kids. 
We can’t forget where we learned our mothering skills. Thank you to all those great women who have made us who we are today.
