This week starts our “average” with regards to sales at the major children’s designer retailers. Nothing too exciting to jump on immediately.
Most Spring Transition lines are at least 40% off now, if not up to 60%. You can (literally) dress your kids entirely for Summer on Spring Transition sales. In fact, most Summer lines are already introduced. We’ll see a couple more small, Summer to Fall transition lines introduced in the May time frame, but that’s about it. Summer sales will be in full swing by June.
My kids aren’t out of school until mid-June this year, so there really isn’t any reason to pay full price on Summer clothing for them at this stage. For 80% of what I need, I know I can easily get it for 50-70% off. [Give it a try!]
