It seems like a race for the retailers — who can clear out their Winter inventory the soonest? Discounts we’re seeing now are unprecedented – about a month earlier than last year’s activity.
We expect to see more price drops, more free shipping offers, and more “additional %’s” off on Winter Clearance. Note that the Boutiques sales lag the major retailers, but rather than deep discounts in March at the boutiques, we will probably see them by February (if not already in some stores). Watch your local stores closely for the best deals.
