I set my two tween daughters loose on the newly acquired johnny b catalog and was surprised to find a throw back to my glory days circa nineteen eighty something. Complete with a cropped sweatshirt, slouch pants, a long sweater dress, high waisted skirts and suede pixie boots. Some styles look fashionably updated and other styles should have been buried when the decade ended (no offense to Boden).
Skinny jeans are still in fashion this season and the favorite outfit unanimously chosen by both my girls was the ruffle top and skinny jeans pictured left. Of course it will only work with johnny b’s leather motorcycle jacket for $200… so I’m told, but that’s another story.
