The Central Florida Green Guide, an environmentally friendly, eco-conscious blog, recently reported on a boutique in Florida with some wonderful ideas for Kids’ Fashion. Hopscotch Boutique in Orlando, FL, a quaint and comfortable shop that prides itself in being green. Here’s an excerpt from blogger Tara’s post on the Hopscotch Boutique:

On to the goods, where do I begin…they carry everything from shoes, to clothing, maternity clothes, nursing covers, baby wraps, and diaper creme! They carry unique brands not found elsewhere such as Zutano, Luna Luna, Wes and Willy and many more.

So what makes them green? The fact that they carry nursing tops, slings, and Hooter Hiders is plenty! But, they also carry unique organic baby brands. You can find Earth Mama Angel Baby balms, butter, and lotions, organic swaddling blankets, clothes, and wraps.

    If you live in the southwestern part of Orange County in Central Florida, you just have to stop by the newest and cutest children’s boutique and eco-friendly, educational toy store, Daisy’s Children’s Boutique and Toy Store on 103 South Main Street in Historic Downtown Winter Garden, FL. (www.DaisyBoutiqueAndToys.com or 407-654-1748) I happen to see the owner, Daisy on Saturday at the Windermere Fall Festival and everyone was raving about her environmentally friendly toys, children’s books, organic infant products, bamboo children’s clothes, and custom designed children’s hair bows and jewelry. Her jewelry designer was even at the festival, Renny and Tiffany’s Jewelry, who also sells on-line.

    Daisy’s shop is so cute. It is a little brown cottage with flower pots and a rocking chair in the front. She even has a cute porch. It is so much fun walking into her shop. It is beautifully decorated and she even has a play area.
