Welcome to Sales At A Glance! There’s some big news in the market this week.

First, all U.S. Limited Too stores will be converted to Justice: Just for Girls in the near future. So, we’ll soon be featuring Justice in our Sales At A Glance and will be watching for any great deals or closeout pricing at both stores. I would anticipate Limited Too will have a lot of “got to go” inventory.

Secondly, the awaited end of the Talbots Kids brand can now be seen on-line and in stores. Take an additional 30% off all kids purchases. Since they came out with a Back-to-School line, you likely won’t find better deals on back-to-school merchandise anywhere else at this time. Expect to receive at least 50% off.

- It’s Circle of Friends time! Today through Sunday, Aug. 24, – save 30% on your entire order (both new and sale merchandise). On-line – use “GYMFRIEND” at checkout. Unfortunately only one Promotion/Coupon code can be used.
- Gymbucks Earning period starts today, Aug 21 – Sep 28. Redemption begins on October 12. It’s a good idea to plan your Gymboree purchases around these dates and leverage sales, such as Circle of Friends, to maximize the value for your “Buck”. Check out these other tips from previous posts:

- Tip: If you love Hanna Andersson, it pays to watch the sight on Sundays and Mondays. Sales are often loaded and/or announced on-line before emails are distributed on Tuesdays.
- TIP: Have favorites from last season? They are possibly still available on the website, even if they don’t display. Just type in the catalog SKU’s to search.
Janie and Jack
- New savings on Fall Styles – now 25% off. Summer sales are now marked very low – as much as 70 – 75% off.

Lands End Kids
- Earn 3% for your school on all purchases for a limited time! Look for your favorite school and register before you purchase!

- A new sale section, the “Blow out Special” has several items for kids, but only marked down to 60% off. All items are from 2007 Summer season. (I’m not understanding the rationale behind the pricing — not what I would consider to be “blow out” pricing).
- There are a few items for kids “On The Counter” today.
- Some of the best deals (e.g. 60-85% off) can be found in “Not Quite Perfect” on the website.
Limited Too
- It’s “Got to Go” in Clearance. Sale prices now marked down as low as 75% off (although you’ll find 40% off items mixed in too). I wonder what kind of “It’s got to go” clearance might happen during the Limited Too to Justice conversion?
- It’s still Double Too Bucks distribution (is this ever going to end?). Spend $50 and get $80 in future savings. Get TWO $25 savings cards, each with a $15 off Bonus Card. This is a great time to buy – be sure to spend your initial $50 on Sale and Clearance items to optimize the deal.
LL Bean Kids
- The Summer sale continues, with inventory dwindling. Save 30-75% off most summer items.
- Nothing today for kids on the Thursday Morning Markdown.

- Retail Me Not has coupon codes for 15% off plus free shipping and free returns, good through 11/21/08. The link is currently indicating a 100% success rate – may be worth a try!

- Well… it’s going. Now get 30% off your entire Kids order on-line – before Talbots Kids is gone. I suspect the % off will keep getting better. Although everything on the site is already on sale, so you’re sure to save at least 50% right now.
- TIP: Stick with classic Talbots styling to optimize the resale value of your choices. Once the brand is no longer available, the classics should be in demand.

- Summer items are arriving at the Outlets — all marked at $3.99. On-line summer also marked down to just $3.99 at the Monster Sale.
