I wonder how much of this is the singers themselves behind the interest — Or, is it the Walmart’s and the Kohl’s of the world seeking out partnerships with the big names? Or, is it the singer’s agents looking to further expand their brand by connecting with them designers and major retailers? Whatever the reason, its likely a sign there is a lot of money in this business.

p.s. What I prefer to see are celebrities “heartfully” partnering with specialty children’s designers to produce quality clothing sold in boutiques and higher-end department stores, such as the relationship between Tori Spelling and Hartstrings.
